There is nothing I can compare the experience to, when I think of myself standing next to the Western Wall.
Sometimes I’m in love, sometimes, I’m distracted. Sometimes I’m connected and other times I’m a million miles away. But whether my heart is overflowing with abundance, or gratitude or even pain, there’s one thing I always know. And that is the pure and unwavering truth; that I am home, that this is where I belong and that I am never ever alone.
The Jewish sages say about this holy place, "All who pray in this place, in Jerusalem, it's as if one is praying before the throne of Glory, that the gate of heaven is there, and there is an open door to hear prayer"
May we all merit to see the rebuilding of the Beit Hamikdash, speedily in our days!
