At the moment of the Akeidah, when the angle of G-d called out, ‘Avraham, Avraham!..do not put out your hand.. do not anything to him’ and G-d opened the gates of the seven firmaments, and Avraham saw the Divine Presence, and understood that his faith alone, to do the impossible, to sacrifice his only son, that was to be the father of the Jewish nation, that G-d had promised him 37 years before, without understanding how this could be, was all G-d was looking for..

And after that G-d blessed him, in the merit of not holding back his only son, that He will greatly increase his offspring, who will be as numerous, ‘like the stars of the sky, and the sand on the seashore’ and who will, ‘inherit the gate of it’s enemies’ and that, ‘all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves through your descendants =- because you obeyed My voice’ Genesis 22.18

And that is what this painting is about.

The astounding incomprehensible wonder of unshakable faith. And the promise from G-d that holds us, the descendants of Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov,  and of Sara, Rivka, Rachel and Leah, to this day. The promise that no matter what, we will survive, and not only that, but we will thrive. And we will be blessed. And we will become so numerous no one besides G-d would even be able to count us… like the stars in the galaxies.. and the sand on the seashore.

Bring Jewish hope, mysticism and faith into your home, and transform your space into something beautiful and blessed.
