The old city of Jerusalem. Three landmarks rolled into one. The Churva synagogue, the Western Wall and the Tower of David. I created this in the Hebrew month of Av, during the three weeks of intense mourning for the destruction of Jerusalem and the Beit Hamikdash, our Holy Temple. In Sepia ink, with a touch of Indian Black and Burnt Sienna. One of my favourite inks, bringing Jerusalem and her holy places into your heart and home. May we merit to see the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the holy Beit Hamikdash speedily in our days!
