This incredible piece is inspired by the dictum, 'Hakol Min Hashamayim- Everything is from Heaven'. Our sages said that without Heavenly assistance, one can not even lift a finger! Knowing that we are so loved and that every single thing that happens in our lives,the big, the small, the good and the seemingly bad is being orchestrated from Above, allows us to live with faith, with happiness and with security that we are in the best of hands.  
 
This piece is a semi original, it is hand gilded with both 24K gold leaf and platinum leaf. The gold and silver stars represent the two attributes which G-d uses to govern this world. In Kabbalsitic teachings the attribute of ‘Din’ - justice is represented with gold, and ‘Chesed’- kindness is represented with silver. In the painting you can count thirteen large silver stars, these correspond to G-d’s thirteen attributes of mercy, and there are also two stars which are half silver and half gold (see if you can find them!). They represent the ways in which we try to sweeten the judgements with mercy.
